CANADIAN ROCKY MOUNTAIN DISCOVERY TOUR
7 Days/6 Nights
Tour Dates: May 20 – September 22 Departs every Monday & Thursday.
Vancouver/Clearwater/Jasper/Banff/ Chase/Whistler/Vancouver
This tour covers all of the main sights of the Rockies as well as gives time for the less visited places. This particular tour is done in ENGLISH only.
Our guide will design each day to suit the individual requests of our guests. The “Rocky Mountain Discovery Tour” appeals to the traveler who is looking for more independence than what is traditionally offered on a large coach tour. Each day brings something new and there is always room to be spontaneous. Stop the coach, take a picture, go for a swim, walk a mountain path, have a picnic or just enjoy the views from the veranda of a café. Perfect for all ages and all activity levels.
The tour travels through the Coast Mountain Range into the Wells Gray Park area where you will see the enormous Canadian Rockies unfolding before your eyes. You will spend one night in Jasper where there are so many sites to visit including the famous “Ice Fields”, the placid lakes, Athabasca and Dome Glaciers and much more. Then, it is on to Banff, another beautiful Canadian town nestled in the mountains. You will have time to explore and enjoy this mountain town before heading back through the Rogers Pass into the Shuswap area with its green hills and valley. From the Shuswap area the tour continues onto Whistler – Canada’s most famous ski resort – where you can just explore this quaint village or ride the gondola to view the glaciers before the tour heads back over the fabulous Sea to Sky Highway into Vancouver. |
